Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were not ideal as they had a noisy bird nest in the roof, but once we moved to a lovely executive suite, things improved. However, there was a mix-up with the booking, and it took some rearranging to accommodate my family properly. The service was exceptional with a sweet touch of a decorated plate and chocolates for our anniversary. The location was peaceful and convenient, though signage could be clearer. The dining options were overpriced, and the breakfast service was a bit slow. Despite some drawbacks, the hotel had some impressive facilities.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were spacious, although a bit dated, but the bed was incredibly comfortable which led to a good night's sleep. The service was excellent with extremely polite staff, although there were some issues with the first room smelling of smoke. The location was lovely with nice walks into Calderglen park nearby, despite the need for a total overhaul of the hotel. The dining experience was okay but could use some improvement in speed. The facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel had beautiful surroundings just outside East Kilbride, but unfortunately, our room was dated and shabby. The service was friendly and attentive, and the dining experience was surprisingly pretty good. The pool area was a definite highlight.
